Long services, real lengths

A five-hour braiding install blocks five hours, on the right person's column.

When Fresha, Booksy or Simple Salon may suit you better

We sell Blyssbook, so here it is plainly.

  • You want new clients from a marketplace app. Fresha and Booksy list your salon in big consumer apps where people search for a braider or nail tech nearby. Blyssbook has no app like that: your clients come from your own link, Google and social media.

  • You send lots of SMS marketing. Booksy ZA includes 500 marketing SMS a month. Blyssbook has no SMS bundle: it reaches clients by email and WhatsApp.

  • You want a long free demo. Simple Salon gives a 30-day demo site. Blyssbook's trial is 14 days.

  • You want the card payment inside the booking app. Blyssbook records the payment from your own card machine; it doesn't take card payments online for South African salons yet.

How to switch

Move over in an afternoon

  2. Step 2: Upload it to Blyssbook

The import recognises Fresha and Booksy files and brings in names, phone numbers, emails and notes.

  3. Step 3: Share your new booking link

Questions about switching

How much is Blyssbook compared with Fresha and Booksy?

Blyssbook Starter is about R183 a month for up to 5 staff, and Professional about R350 for up to 15. Booksy ZA lists R399 a month plus tax, and R89 for each extra user. Fresha doesn't show rand prices on its pricing page, so check its site for your salon.

Does Blyssbook take commission on new clients?

No. Blyssbook charges one monthly price and nothing per booking, whether the client is new or has been coming for years.

Can I move my clients from Fresha or Booksy?

Yes. Export your client list as a CSV file and upload it in Blyssbook. The import recognises Fresha and Booksy exports. It brings in names, phone numbers, emails, birthdays and notes, plus visit counts and last visit if your file has them. It doesn't copy each past appointment, so keep your old export for your records.

Do my clients need to download an app?

No. They book on your booking page in their phone's browser, or message you on WhatsApp.

Will I lose the clients who find me on Fresha or Booksy?

You may, if those apps send you a lot of new clients: Blyssbook has no consumer app with that reach. You can keep your listing there while you move your regulars to your own Blyssbook link.
