Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Blyssbook Technologies Ltd. (“Blyssbook”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website or use our platform. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide reporting information. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by other domains). We also use browser local storage for storing your consent preferences.

2. Cookie Categories

NecessaryAlways active

Required for the platform to function correctly. These cannot be disabled as the platform would not work without them.

Examples: Authentication session, CSRF protection, language preference

AnalyticsConsent required

Help us understand how visitors interact with our website to improve it. These are only loaded after you have given analytics consent.

Examples: Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog

MarketingConsent required

Used to measure advertising effectiveness and, where consented, to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. Only loaded after marketing consent is given.

Examples: Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram ads)

4. Google Consent Mode v2

Our website implements Google Consent Mode v2. When you first visit, all Google advertising and analytics data collection signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are set to ‘denied’ by default.

These signals are only updated to ‘granted’ after you accept the corresponding cookie category (Analytics or Marketing) through our consent banner. Google Tag Manager manages the deployment of tracking scripts in accordance with your consent state.

5. Meta Pixel and Conversions API

The Meta Pixel is initialised in ‘consent revoked’ mode and does not fire any tracking events until you accept marketing cookies. Our Meta Conversions API sends server-side conversion events using only generic, non-sensitive data. Email addresses and phone numbers are SHA-256 hashed before transmission — raw personal data is never sent to Meta.

6. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options for managing cookies:

  • Cookie Preferences Banner: Use our consent banner (shown on first visit) or click the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer at any time to update your choices.
  • Browser Settings:Most browsers allow you to view, block, and delete cookies through their settings menu. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
  • Google Analytics Opt-Out: Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Meta Ad Preferences: Manage how Meta uses your data at facebook.com/privacy/explanation.
  • Industry Opt-Out Tools: Opt out of interest-based advertising at youronlinechoices.eu (EEA) or optout.aboutads.info (US).

Note: Disabling necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the platform. Disabling analytics or marketing cookies will not affect your ability to use the Service.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals, however our Cookie Consent system provides equivalent or stronger controls. We will update this policy if that changes.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
